Pushcart Players offers fully mounted, costumed and orchestrated productions that assemble with ease. This award-winning organization provides study guides and resource lists for teachers and parents for all of its productions, enhancing the theater experience with arts literacy. Nominated for an Emmy for its two primetime specials on CBS, Pushcart is celebrating its 37th year as a touring ensemble. The company offers nine productions ranging from fairytales to historical plays, including Peter & The Wolf, Little Red Riding Hood and Other Stories, the bi-lingual Cuentos del Arbol (Tree Tales), and The Last, The Very...Last Butterfly--an introduction to the Holocaust. Touring highlights include two performances at the White House and tours in both the Czech Republic and Russia. All Pushcart cast members are experienced teachers and provide workshops, acting classes and residency programs to schools, communities and summer sessions.
